Amazing Movement As Taylor Swift officially Becomes A Billionaire

The American pop star entered the Forbes World’s Billionaires List for the first time with $1.1 billion.

In the feature published on Tuesday, Forbes said the list was compiled using stock prices and exchange rates from March 8, 2024.

The magazine said there are now more billionaires than ever — with 2,781 in total.

The figure is 141 more than last year and 26 more than the previous record set in 2021.

Forbes added that the elite were richer than ever – with a collective wealth of $14.2 trillion.

Swift, 34, amassed an estimated $1.1 billion fortune, based on earnings from her blockbuster ‘Eras Tour’, the value of her music catalog and her real estate portfolio.

According to Forbes, Swift is the first musician to hit ten-figure status solely based on her songs and performances.

Geographically, the United States has more billionaires than any other country, with a record 813 on the list. China is second, followed by India.

Swift began professional songwriting at age 14. She signed with Big Machine Records as a country singer in 2005, where she released six studio albums.

Swift is one of the world’s best-selling digital artists, with 200 million records sold worldwide.

She is the highest-grossing female touring act and the most-streamed woman on Spotify and Apple Music.

Her accolades include 14 Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, 40 American Music Awards, 39 Billboard Music Awards, and 23 MTV Video Music Awards.
