State Farm knows a good thing when it sees it.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid starred in his first commercial for the insurance company a year ago, as a serial mustache drawer. But Reid said last year he wasn’t thrilled when Mahomes asked him to do the spot.
“Pat asked if I would do it with him and I told him, ‘I’m not very good at that stuff,’ as you guys know doing these things (news conferences),” Reid said at the time.
Reid was being modest because he crushed that first spot
State Farm liked when it saw and brought back Reid for a commercial that was shot in Independence. There were no mustaches drawn this time. Reid was more interested in taking Mahomes’ food.

A third State Farm commercial with Reid and Mahomes began airing last week, and it’s called “Most Valuable Bundler.”
Reid feigns anger, asking Mahomes at one point, “Hey, you done?” Then Big Red cracks a smile at the end. You may have seen the spot, but if not, here it is.
