Fact Check: Did Diddy have an underground bunker in his LA mansion connected to…..See more

An old rumor surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs had resurfaced across social media. Several posts shared on X, claimed that an underground tunnel was possibly connecting Combs’ LA mansion to the Playboy mansion. One such post, shared on September 24, read:

“Google earth shows Diddy Mansion and Playboy Mansion practically next door to each other and on the same PARALLEL as the Getty – what are the odds they’re all connected underground?”
Another post, dated September 20, read:
“It’s alleged that there was an underground tunnel that connected one of Diddy’s homes to High Heffner’s playboy mansion.”
This is not the first time this rumor has surfaced online. Last year in November and earlier this year in March, similar rumors were made on X. This speculation was later debunked. At the time, a screenshot reportedly taken from a CNN broadcast went viral claiming that there were underground tunnels under Diddy’s house. Reuters confirmed that the screenshot was fabricated. CNN representative Emily Kuhn also stated that the images were manipulated. Thus, it is safe to conclude that this rumor is false.
No confirmed reports about the underground tunnels under Diddy’s mansion are found
The rumor about possible underground tunnels under Diddy’s’ mansion once again emerged, in the aftermath of his arrest by the federal agents on September 16, 2024.In March, the US Department of Homeland Security raided the rapper’s luxurious properties in Miami and Los Angeles. The raids were reportedly prompted by a lawsuit accusing Combs’ of s*x trafficking. It was filed in the federal court by the rapper’s former girlfriend in November 2023.
In 2014, the Los Angeles Times reported that the record executive bought a mansion in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles for $40 million. This mansion came with a “lagoon-style swimming pool with a grotto connected by an underwater swimming tunnel.” However, there is no mention of underground tunnels.
The mansion in Los Angeles is spread over an area of 17,000 sq. feet and has a guesthouse covering an area of 3,009 sq. feet. It is equipped with a 35-seat theater, a gym, and a wine room.
Last week, on September 16, Sean Combs was arrested by federal authorities and later denied bail. In his indictment, the music mogul had been charged with some gruesome crimes including s*x trafficking. He was further accused of organizing “freak off parties,” where he allegedly abused many female victims.
