Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens had cause for celebration during the first weekend of the 2024 NFL season.
Owens, who married the Olympic legend last year, was in action for the Chicago Bears during their home opener against the Tennessee Titans at Soldier Field Saturday.
The gymnast, who added another three gold medals and a solver to haul Olympic haul in Paris last month, didn’t appear to be in the Windy City to cheer on her NFL beau but she was still supporting him from afar.
And the safety gave the Olympic legend more than enough to cheer for as he found the endzone.
With the Bears down 17-3 with nine minutes left on the clock in the third quarter, the special teams player scored the franchise’s first touchdown of the season and the second of his career.
