Brittany Mahomes reveals why Patrick Mahomes will “struggle” in Chiefs’ Vs Dolphins

Patrick Mahomes' gives

As Kansas City prepares to host the Miami Dolphins in the Super Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, Brittany Mahomes may have inadvertently given fans a glimpse at the challenges awaiting Patrick Mahomes on Saturday night.

Brittany’s Instagram story showed a glimpse of the winter weather slamming Kansas City this week, with the caption “wowza” while their dog frolicked in the snow around their home.

A following story captured the treacherous drive down their driveway as their property was covered in several inches of snow.

To her, it was a beautiful winter wonderland. But the conditions Patrick and the Chiefs could face at Arrowhead Stadium this weekend are less than ideal for football.
What will the weather be in Kansas City on Saturday?

More snow is predicted to come Friday, according to Weather.com. By game time for Saturday night’s controversial primetime Peacock exclusive broadcast, the temperature is expected to drop into the single digits, with a low of -5 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weather could pose some serious problems for both the inconsistent Chiefs pass-catchers and the high-flying but warm-weather Dolphins.

Mahomes performances in bad weather

Mahomes has had success in snow games before. He dominated the Broncos in his first ever snow game in 2019, throwing for over 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Tyreek Hill, who now plays for the Dolphins.

Although it will be a challenge for Mahomes, it’s nothing he isn’t accustomed to. Saturday will mark his 15th career playoff appearance, and none of them have been road games, so he knows what it feels like in January in Kansas City. The question is if Miami, which hasn’t played a game below 45 degrees at kickoff this season, can adjust.
