Patrick Mahomes reveals new handshake with Travis Kelce – Finally speaks up on his wife Brittany, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are on a 'whole 'nother level' together says Packers coach Matt LaFleur, as Chiefs prepare to face Green Bay at Lambeau Field

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes believes he and teammate Travis Kelce will ‘out-do’ the handshake Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes came up with in recent weeks.

‘Their handshake is better than me and Travis’. Me and Travis need to work on our handshake and maybe we can debut that on Christmas, then we can see who’s handshake is better,’ Mahomes said in a pre-game interview on CBS.

‘That was a solid handshake, I think on the spot,’ Mahomes continued. ‘We got a little time to plan it, so I think we’re going to out-do them a little bit.’

Swift attended her eighth Chiefs game of the season on Christmas Day, with her boyfriend Kelce and Co playing against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kelce and Swift have been publicly dating since she attended Kansas City’s September 24 game against the Chicago Bears

Brittany and Travis have been dating since high school and married last year. Being the star quarterback’s wife, she rarely misses a Chiefs home game.

Mahomes has described Kelce as a brother in the past and has expressed his support of his relationship with Swift.

‘When you have a guy like that you can count on, I can just throw it up in the middle of the field and he’s just going to go up there and make a play happen and give everything he has. it’s made my career what it is today,’ Mahomes said of Kelce to CBS’ Nate Burleson.

‘And I’m glad I’ve had those types of teammates, especially that guy with me,’ Mahomes continued.

Also in the interview, Mahomes addressed how the Chiefs have played this season, as they haven’t shown the dominant form most are used to.

Mahomes added there isn’t panic in the Kansas City locker room.

‘I think people just aren’t used to us winning in this fashion,’ Mahomes said. ‘I’ve been to the Super Bowl without being the No. 1 seed before.’

A win over Las Vegas would clinch a playoff spot and the AFC West title for the Chiefs.
