Taylor Swift spent months cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce during the Kansas City Chiefs successful run for the Super Bowl, and now, it’s time for him to return the favor. The NFL star is proving to be the 34-year-old singer’s biggest cheerleader as he travels the world to support her career just like she has rooted on his.
Travis turned up in Singapore with his BFF, Harry Clark, to enjoy another round of the Eras Tour. “Taylor is super busy with her tour, but Travis and her are continuing to make things work. He is enjoying his life in the off season while trying to be as supportive as possible of Taylor,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. Their continued commitment to each other, despite their busy schedules, is a testament to the strength of their relationship.
Swift hinted at their dedication in her Time Person of the Year interview. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care…The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone,” she said confidently. “And we’re just proud of each other.” The investment they’ve made in keeping their love strong has taken them all over the globe in a short amount of time, but it indicates that they are already thinking about how their big careers fit into each other’s lives.
“They make a great match, and both see a real future together. They have talked about next steps and are on the same page,” the ET insider added. Swifties seem to be just as invested as the “Blank Space” singer because Travis continually props up his girlfriend and acknowledges her incredible accomplishments. On his March 6 New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, the NFL tight end talked about the attention they received during his quick stopover in Sydney, Australia.
“You’re like The Beatles,” Jason joked.
“It’s a wild ride,” Travis explained. “I will tell you this, Australia did not disappoint. It was amazing over there.”
When Jason inquired how they got the overhead shots of them at the Sydney Zoo, Travis reminded his older brother that it wasn’t him the paparazzi were looking for. “There were full-on helicopters just flying around. They helicoptered us,” he shared. “Well, not us — Taylor. This is all because Taylor’s the biggest and the best thing possible.”
